Player Expectations

All players will take personal responsibility for their decisions and actions. They will not place blame on others, but will accept responsibility for their actions.

All players will work to be a positive part of the team. They will be positive with comments to and about teammates, coaches, opposing players, and officials.

All players will make the commitment of time to the team. They are required to be at all regularly scheduled team activities. If attendance is impossible it is the responsibility of the player to communicate with the coach in a timely fashion.

All players are to maintain a minimum of a 2.0 grade point average during each grading period at Rocklin High. Players should accept that their coach is going to take an active role in providing academic support at all times.

All players must understand that playing baseball at Rocklin High is a privilege and not a right. All players will be asked to provide support for the overall program at Rocklin High in various ways. This includes, but is not limited to, fundraising, field maintenance, and care of all equipment provided by Rocklin High School.

All players must communicate with their coached when there are personal concerns with their performance, health, and general well-being. This communication must take place at the times designated by the coach unless an emergency requires an alternate time.

Players must stay alcohol, tobacco, and drug free at all times.

Players must abide by all Rocklin High Athletic policy rules.
