The independent worker who knows how to access information, problem solve and think critically in the work place holds the key to SUCCESS!
Work Experience is an elective class that will prepare you for the World of Work! This class meets once each week! Please be sure to check the calendar provided for pre-class work! Coming to class prepared will provide you with the best tools for success in class and on the job!
Work Experience meets once each week according to the following schedule:
- Rocklin High School - 5th Period - Tuesday or Wednesday (depending on the blue day!)
- Whitney High School - 8th Period - Tuesday or Wednesday (depending on the even day!)
All students are required to do the following:
- Come to class prepared for the lesson of the week as posted in the Pre-class Instruction ;
- Report their Work Hours on a monthly basis using the Work Hours Report form;
- Report activity looking for a job if not working (Help Wanted Ad, Application, etc.) using the Report of Non-Work Hours form;
