Photography II is an advanced  photography course.  This course will provide students with opportunities to extend and advance their knowledge and skills in the field of photography.   This course will familiarize the student with advanced photographic equipment, materials, methods and processes. It will also require the student to produce digital images using computers. The Student will produce a Professional Portfolio.  This class can be taken for Dual Enrollment with Sierra College. UC approved  Dual Enrollment-Sierra College
 
 
 
Photojournalism This class is taught through yearbook.  They shoot for the yearbook. UC approved
Welcome to the Rocklin High Photography Program and Web page.  Here at Rocklin High, we have 4 levels of Photography being taught.  If a student is interested in Photography we have the avenues for them to explore their creative side. 
 
Photography I is an introductory black and white photography course.  This course will provide students with opportunities to extend their knowledge and skills in the field of photography.  This course will familiarize the student with photographic equipment, materials, methods, and processes.  The students will also be introduced to computer technology and digital photography. This course will also help students create a portfolio (Notebook) of their work. The course is divided between traditional wet lab Photography, and Digital Photography.  UC approved

Photography III/ IV is an advanced photography course.  This course will provide students with opportunities to extend and advance their knowledge and skills in the field of photography.   This course will familiarize the student with advanced photographic equipment, materials, methods and processes. The student to produce digital photographic images using computers. The Student will produce a Professional Portfolio and display their work in shows.  Portfolio’s will be electronic. The students will be responsible for taking and processing Sports Team shots for the school, giving them real life experience. The students will be working toward their own style and interest in Photography working in collaboration with the teacher to direct their specific interest and Photographic goals.  Photo ¾ is an Honors Class. UC approved
