Yearly Events
Paper Drive
The first month back, we ask each student to bring 2 reams of copy paper for the school. If every students were to do this, the school could save approx $12,000.
Drive 1 for U
In conjunction with Ford, the Parent Club put on a Drive U fundraiser. Drivers 18 years and older, one per household, came out to test drive a new Ford at Rocklin High School. It was an event in which approximately 150 people attended. For each of the test drives, Ford donated $20.
College Night
December Staff Appreciation Lunch
With the help of our extended e-mail parents on the sign-up genie, the parent club put on a fabulous "surprise" luncheon for the entire RHS staff. Teachers, administration, custodian, class aides. It was a huge success with plenty of food and prizes that were raffled off. Thank you to all who donated!
SFL Dinner
The end of January the parent club cooked and served dinner to the SFL coaches. Tri-tip, beans, salad, rolls, and dessert.
Valentine Treats for teachers
With the help of our extended e-mail parents on the sign-up genie, the parent club provides yummy treats for the teachers.
Job Fair
An event in March. Cost is $10 per student to attend. The parent club is hoping to have at least 20 businesses set up in the Gym for students to find out about employment opportunities; full-time, part-time, summer jobs, and internships for the upcoming summer. To start off the Job Fair, students will attend two interview workshops. The workshops will cover: interview techniques, dress code, interview pitfalls, and selling yourself.
