Students in Digital Art and Animation I will use the computer as a fine art tool to create original two-dimensional and three-dimensional works of art in this technical and vocational education class.  This course offers an introduction to the elements and principles of design as they relate to the work being created in class as well as work created by master artists in the field.  Software training will focus on Adobe Illustrator and PhotoShop (first semester) and  Macromedia Flash, Adobe Audition, and Adobe Encore (second semester).
Students in Digital Art and Animation II focus on a more advanced curriculum tailor fit to their individual interests.  Students are required to work from an independent conntract which outlines their personal projects themes and learning outcomes.  These projects are a colloboration between student and instructor with the instructor supplying academic  and technical assitance where needed.  In addition to student directed content, the instructor also intoduces students to advanced topics in animation and 3d modeling using programs such as Autodesk Creative Suite such as 3d Studio, Sketchbook, etc.

Tutoring and Lab Hours:
Tutoring labs are daily during Plus Period and each Wednesday from 2:45-3:45 pm.  Students are required to register with Mrs. Tackett for a lab time prior to attending a tutoring session.
