TRANSFER INFORMATION
INTRADISTRICT TRANSFERS:
The deadline to submit an INTRADISTRICT TRANSFER REQUEST for any student wishing to move between Rocklin High School and Whitney High School was February 17, 2017. Students requesting a transfer after this date will be considered by Administration on an availability basis. Parents will be notified of their student’s status prior to the Rocklin and Whitney High School Freshmen Showcase Night which will be held on March 6th.

INTERDISTRICT TRANSFERS:
Rocklin High School is currently accepting INTERDISTRICT TRANSFER REQUESTS. Students wishing to transfer into Rocklin High School from outside of the RUSD district must complete an INTERDISTRICT TRANSFER REQUEST annually. You must start this process at the student's home district. Once the student is released from their home district, the paperwork needs to be brought to the RUSD office where it will be reviewed by Administration. Parents will be notified once the transfer has been approved and informed of the registration process.

For more information you can read the Transfer Policy for Rocklin Unified School District at:

WELLNESS
One of our areas of focus for this school year is our wellness program and providing students with the tools and resources necessary to successfully deal with social-emotional demands of being a teenager.  Please click here for resources that can help you and your student.

RHS hosted Roni Habib of EQ Schools for a parent night on Emotional Intelligence in August 2016. For more information on Roni Habib and EQ Schools, please watch Roni’s TedTalks: Emotional Intelligence – The Skills Our Students Deserve.

This is a community effort in response to data gathered from students, staff and parents, funded by the RHS Parent Club and the Rocklin Excellence Education Foundation (REEF). We believe this Emotional Intelligence training addresses many of the social-emotional skills that our teenagers need to survive and thrive in the 21st century.
